Football Training Schedule

Players, coaches and fans alike demand professionalism from interscholastic sports officials. The Michigan Officials Association expects nothing different. The Michigan Officials Association expectation includes having a professional presence, attitude, and dress code. Michigan Officials Association (MOA) is committed to ensuring fair games at the highest level of sportsmanship. As a representative from the Michigan Official Association, you are the final authority on the football field; and as such, you must have the training and character to accept that responsibility.

| A qualified representative from the Michigan Official Association organizes and conducts football training for interscholastic sports officials each year prior to the start of the interscholastic football season. The purpose of the training is to refresh current sports officials in rules and procedures of football. All trainers are MSHAA certified. Participation in these training and eduction classes freely offered by the Michigan Official Association will benefit any member interested in developing their skills as interscholastic football official. |

Gary Gilliand |
| Gary has been with the Association for 10 years, and has 9 years officiating High School Varsity. He has been a trainer for three years. |

Jamie Hinojosa |
| Jamie has been an official of Michigan Officials and a member of the MSHAA for 15+ years, and been a board member at moa for 6 years. Jamie also officates NCAA football. |

Frank Jaskula |
| Frank has been an official and member of the MSHAA for 34 years. Frank joined the Association in 1977. Frank joined the board in 2004. Today, Frank continues to help new officials by training and working with them to become the best official they can. In 1978, Frank officiated the state football semi and finals. |

Norm Gozalka |
| Norm has been with the Michigan Officials Association and MSHAA for 19 years. Norm has been a trainer with the Association for 10 years, and sat on the board for 6 years. Norm has officiated baseball and football games for the the NCAA. |

The Michigan Officials Association (MOA) is an association of umpires and referees (A.K.A. sports officials) serving southeast Michigan interscholastic sports. Currently the members from the association officiate baseball, softball, basketball and football.
